Google Goggles: This app allows you to search the Internet by taking a picture of the object you want to learn about. Helps a lot when you travel and don't have a guide available. Recognizes famous landmarks, translates by taking a picture of foreign language text, recognizes paintings, books, dvd, cds, and just about any 2D image. It even solves Sudoku puzzles.
